Katzinjamma “the signTist” hasnt just been just a singer, songwriter, musician, solo artist or just touring with his past bands. Deep down he's been a sign maker.
He started after he graduated from trade school in the rehlm of advertising, starting as a paste up advertising artist at Mark Sternhill Advertising and then the infamous “penny saver” publication.
Then, while living with one of his roadies of the katzinjamma live band, he lived right up the block from “vic kessler signs” in Flushing New York, which is still there today with Vic Jr. running the business of the late Vic Kessler.
SInce working in the industry since 1987, he been learning from some of the best:
Regency Signs, Mauceri Signs, Specialty Signs, Max Customs, SCC Signs, Artisan Signs, Sensational signs, Sign Connection, Bender Apparral, Signsmith and now he helps run the show as the Shop Manager at a sign shop in Jacksonville NC.
